Since our inception, ICF has been involved with young people and education. We know that wildlife photography appeals to all age groups and we have shared our vision of conservation through photography with children everywhere through various programs, publications, and speaking engagements.
In our continuing commitment to children we developed the Pro-Am Youth tournament. These events are very similar to our other Pro-Am series. They are always held on private lands with a professional coach in a tournament format for a specific period of time, but dates and duration are based on school schedules and the criteria of the groups that the kids belong to. These events rely heavily on fundraising to sponsor the kids and we are thankful for the businesses and individuals who have supported our efforts. Pro-Am Youth tournaments are a natural fit for children who will have a future in ranching or are affiliated with groups like 4-H, FFA, and countless other youth organizations, or any child who has an interest in wildlife, photography, or conservation.
The children of today’s ranchers are the next generation of landowners and the decisions they make will have a huge impact on the future of wildlife. Wildlife photography and the private lands nature photography industry are the single best future income source for this next generation of ranchers. Our Pro-Am Youth tournaments benefit youth and wildlife alike. If you have a child or a youth organization that you want to see in one of these events, contact us and we’ll get started on your Pro-Am Youth today.
