Katherine Brown

Katherines’s imaginative concept of capturing images of wildlife by preserving their beauty in its natural state, has always been her passion.  She believes that the “Treasures of Nature” that we are given, are a gift and captured images of wildlife should tell a story.

Her photography career started in a high-profile portrait studio by creating family, chrildren and wedding portraits.  The outdoors always beckoned her to broaden her horizons and eleven years later Katherine left the controlled environment to find the beauty in the nature that surrounds us. She has had the honor of working with Tom Mangleson (Nature Photographer), Jay Meisel (New York Times)  and Dave Black (Sports Illustrated). Her work has claimed national recognition from images selected through National Geographic and NANPA of which she is a member.

Katherine’s personal challenge, through her photography, is to capture the essence of nature’s beauty and evoke spirit and emotion with all audiences,  With her natural ability to find that perfect, unusual and captivating shot, she hopes to kindle and arouse the fight for preservation of wildlife and nature among future generations to come.
