Larry Ditto has been a nature photographer for over three decades...full time for 10 years. He is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and the Rocky Mountain Outdoor Writers and Photographers Association (RMOWPA). With a focus on south Texas wildlife and outdoors, Larry also travels to various destinations throughout the U.S. to photograph.
For 29 years, Larry was a Refuge Manager in the National Wildlife Refuge System. His degree in Wildlife Science from Texas A&M University and his experience managing public lands are a huge bonus for the nature photography profession. His photographs have appeared in National Wildlife, Natural History, Audubon, Sports Afield, Birder's World, Texas Parks & Wildlife, Texas Highways, Birds and Blooms, and many other magazines, books and calendars.
Larry is also a past winner of the Valley Land Fund Wildlife Photography contest. He conducts several instructional photography tours and workshops each year. When he is not leading photo workshops or photographing wildlife, Larry provides advice and assistance to landowners who want to offer their lands as nature photography destinations with photo blinds for the public.
