Images For Conservation Fund Proudly Announces the Book II: Texas Coastal Bend Edition Dedicatee - David K. Langford. David has served in the leadership of the Texas Wildlife Association since 1986. He was TWA's Executive Vice President from 1990 until his retirement in 2002. Langford continues to serve TWA as Vice President Emeritus, primarily working on water issues, property tax concerns, eminent domain threats, private lands stewardship challenges, and other special legislative and educational projects.

David was the second person honored with being Recipient of the 2004 Harvey Weil Professional Conservationist Award. He has also been appointed and elected to various committees and groups affecting Agriculture, Water, Hunting, and Nature Tourism within the state of Texas. David currently serves on the National Advisory board of Texas Wild.

David is an award-winning photographer of western, cowboy, wildlife and nature images, and is published worldwide. He and his wife, Myrna, live on their family's six-generation ranch near Comfort, TX and have two children and four grandchildren. The Langford Family has been in ranching and flour milling businesses in Texas since 1851. David operates family ranch, nature photography destination business, cattle operation, and hunting leases.
