Los Madrones is located off Hamilton Pool Road in Dripping Springs, Travis County, Texas. Little Bee Creek runs through the property and there are sevearal spring-fed lakes.

Ashed Juniper clearing has helped return the dramatically beautiful property to a sate of natural abundance. Tall native grasses flank the gravel road into the property. A gentle rise suddenly drops downward to reveal a breathtaking view of the creek below and shadowed hills beyond. The family's native stone home offers a panorama of the surrounding countryside and gardens are planted to attract birds and mammals.

The ranch priority is the restoration of habitat for Rio Grande Turkey, Northern Bobwhite Quail, White-tailed Deer, song bids and small mammals. Supplemental feed is offered turkeys and quail, and predator management has been a focused effort. Bat and birdhouses are strategically positioned to further encourage the expanding bird population that is carefully catalogued in an annual spring census. The family utilizes photography blinds to offer nature photography opportunites to the public. Bed and Breakfast facilities augment wildlife viewing and nature study.
