While Jeff Parker finds pleasure in all of nature's diverse offerings - from the tiniest butterfly to the largest bison - he tends to focus his lens on the flora and fauna of Texas and Central America.
As a native-Texan, Jeff knows the Lone Star's offerings intimately. Thus, as participants in his Texas workshops improve their photography skills, they also learn lots about the Texas wildlife and plant life they've come to photograph.
The lens also brings Jeff to Central America where he leads photo-tours. One of his most popular venues explores the north coast of Honduras, where participants get the chance to photograph the Lovely Cotinga.
Jeff offers consulting services to those interested in adding nature photography to their ranch-revenue tool-kit. His expertise guides landowners entering the Private Lands Nature Photography Industry (PLNPI) and elucidates the unique needs of nature/wildlife photographers and the industry.
Jeff captured winnings in Images for Conservation's 2010 Pro-Tour and also earned his share of the purse in the 2007, 2009, and 2011 Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo Contests.
His photographs have appeared in many publications and websites including: NANPA's Expressions 2011 and 2012, American Profile, Celebrated Living, Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine, Texas Wildlife Magazine, and Cenizo.
Look for his work in the books Images for Conservation (Pro-Tour Series): Borderlands of Laredo, Texas Edition, Wildlife in Focus IV, V, and VI.
Jeff proudly belongs to the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and the Nature Conservancy of Texas. He's a graduate of the 2010 inaugural class of Corpus Christi Certified Wildlife Guides.
