Images for Conservation fosters conservation of wildlife through sustainable development, using the power of photography to integrate art, education, and natural history.

Images for Conservation hosts The Pro-Tour, the world's richest nature photography tournament, featuring international nature photographers randomly teamed with regional landowners.We are extremely proud to announce the venue for the 2010 Pro-Tour of Nature Photography. The 2010 Pro-Tour will be held in Webb County, Texas and the counties that border Webb County. These counties are Maverick, Dimmit, La Salle, McMullen, Duval, Jim Hogg and Zapata. Laredo, Texas will be the host city for the Pro-Tour and the related events.

This southwest Texas region is home to thousands of speices of flora and fauna and extremely important to migratory birds, mammals and insects. The Pro-Tour photographers will be creating a visual inventory that will educate the public and participating landowners about the plants and animals that share the land.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Private Landowners: Please complete the appropriate application and submit to Images for Conservation. Entry fee in full due by October 31, 2009. Mail check to: Images for Conservation Fund, 2112 West University Drive, #801, Edinburg, TX 78539, or submit via Paypal Part 1 and Part 2.

Professional Nature Photographers: Please complete the appropriate application and submit to ICF. Entry fee in full due by Septmber 30, 2009. Mail check to: Images for Conservation Fund, 2112 West University Drive #801, Edinburg, TX 78539. Submit via Paypal as installments Part 1 and Part 2 or pay balance due In-full.

AEP Texas has again signed on as our First Grand Prize anchor sponsor. The total prize money for the 2010 Pro-Tour has been increased to $180,000.
