Robert is a wildlife biologist and outdoor photographer who began carrying a camera in the field over 25 years ago. The pictures he took for documentation and personal enjoyment grew into wildlife seminars, magazine articles, fine artwork, commissioned shoots, and photography workshops.
During a photo workshop, Robert shares his burning passion for wildlife and its management with his technical knowledge of cameras to help participants not only anticipate shots, but also be ready to maximize the opportunities presented. Robert has worked extensively with both white-tailed deer and birds. When you leave one of Robert’s workshops, he wants you to leave with 3 things: 1) some great shots from the trip, 2) a better understanding and appreciation of the animals and the ecosystem, and 3) new knowledge about using your camera that you can continue to use in other situations.
Robert has been active in many camera clubs where he has lived and served as Vice President of the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association. Robert currently lives in coastal Mississippi.
