Gannets
Gannets nest in the southern and northern hemispheres. They form huge colonies. When a partner comes back to the nest they go through a greeting behavior which involves fencing.
Penguins on Iceberg
Every year, huge chunks of icebergs break off the Antarctic ice-shelves and glaciers. Penguins use these icebergs as resting places. Chinstrap penguins have adapted to climb steep icebergs.

Emperor Penguins
Emperor penguins are the only penguins which bring up their chicks during the Antarctic winter. Many times severe storms decimate the colonies. Temperatures can plunge to minus 60 or lower. It is an amazing breeding cycle these birds go through. The adult penguins often walk 60 miles to find open water to go fetch food for their chicks.
