BOB ROZINSKI, PRO-TOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Bob Rozinski has spent 30 eventful years in the field of nature and wildlife photography, resulting in ten books and hundreds of other publications internationally. He is a former stringer for Associated Press and his newsworthy images appeared in papers all over the world. Bob shifted from photojournalism to nature subjects out of a deep love of the outdoors. A multi-faceted photographer, Bob is equally skilled with wildlife, landscape, and macro subjects. His creative images have earned him First Place in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, First Grand Prize in The Valley Land Fund Wildlife Photo Contest, First Prize in the Nature's Best international photo contest, and thirty awards from the Outdoor Writers' Association of America.

Bob and longtime partner, Wendy Shattil, are well known for their award-winning camera work and a reputation as environmental photographers for documenting endangered species and fragile locations throughout North America. Recognition highlights include: NANPA's Philip Hyde Grant for Environmental Photography, Outstanding Conservationist and Outstanding Business Partner of the Year from the Colorado Wildlife Federation, and induction into the NANPA Fellowship.

Photo credits include National Wildlife, Audubon, Natural History, National Geographic publications, Nature Conservancy, BBC Wildlife, Defenders, Smithsonian, Time, Nature's Best, Sierra Club, and World Wildlife Fund.

"Guardians"
Only once in six years of photographing on a ranch adjacent to Great Sand Dunes, did the resident bison herd wander into this ideal location. The dunes, one mile distant, are affected by moisture in the atmosphere which makes them look like snowy hills.
"Snow Geese at Twilight"
A long exposure captures the pink twilight glow around a flock of snow geese settling into their night roost.
"Dancing Pelican"
This bird's unusual position isn't a new dance or courtship ritual, but simply a private moment in the life of a white pelican. There's something exquisitely joyful about the image which is irresistible.
